Summary

VMware vCenter Orchestrator is an automation tool that provides a set of workflows that can be used for automating configuration and managing vSphere infrastructure. It uses vCenter Server APIs that cover almost every operation.

Orchestrator can be installed either together with vCenter Server or separately. There are also options to upgrade from previous versions and export the configuration during migration.
