This short recipe will conclude this chapter by setting how we want our products and categories to be seen, sorted, and searched. Exactly which settings you use will depend upon the goals of your store.
This recipe is divided into three short sections. Product and category sort order, which at the click of a drop-down list, will choose the order in which your shop's wares appear on the page. There are a surprising number of options.
Then we can choose from the same range of sort options and decide which of those options our customers should be allowed to choose from, if they want to change our default sort order.
And finally, we will take a look at choosing the fields we want our customers to be able to search for.
