We will go through configuring all the main Gantry options. Follow along exactly or vary what you do at various stages to end up with a different result.
As mentioned at the start of this recipe, what makes Gantry different from other frameworks is the extent to which we can customize the look of our template without a single line of code. Let's make some customizations now as shown in the following steps:
Navigate to Extensions | Template Manager and click on the Gantry - Default link. Select the Overview tab.
First we are going to choose a preset. That is one of the preconfigured starting points from which we will begin customization. Click on the Presets button in the row of buttons near the top of the page. You will see a cool drop-down of preset configurations to choose from as shown in the following screenshot:
