If you have followed the last few recipes you will have an effective category structure and some really interesting articles in them. So the search engines start sending people to your articles and your readers like them and want more. We need a way for them to browse our article categories.
This is a really quick and simple recipe which will place a category menu in the top left side of the standard Joomla! template on every page.
This will only take a minute. If you are not using the default Joomla! template, the only variation to this recipe will be choosing a different position name to put your menu where you want it.
In order to create the menu, from your Joomla! control panel select Menus | Menu Manager | Add New Menu as shown in the following screenshot:
