Uploading a file to the file manager


Sometimes you will want to store user-supplied files in the file manager, or perhaps want to migrate the existing files on the server to the file manager. There are obvious security concerns whenever you are dealing with user-generated content, but there are plenty of legitimate reasons to want to programmatically add files to the file manager.

Getting ready

This recipe requires us to create a basic HTML form with a file upload input. We will place the HTML form in a single page located at /single_pages/upload.php. Be sure to install the single page by visiting /dashboard/pages/single and adding a new page with a path of /upload.
