Writing to the debug log

Logging is a common practice in application development, but sometimes you might want to separate errors in your concrete5 app from errors that are specific to PHP or Apache. For this, you can write to concrete5's internal log that can be viewed from the dashboard by site administrators. In this recipe, we will simply write a couple of basic strings to the site's internal log.

How to do it...

Come up with the message string that you would like to write to the log:

```
