Loading a group by its name

Groups can be loaded by their name, which can be useful when you do not know the numeric ID of the group.

How to do it...

The steps for loading a group by its name are as follows:

Define the name of the group that you wish to load.
```
$groupName = 'Administrators';
```
Load the group by its name.
```
$group = Group::getByName($groupName);
```
Dump the group variable to make sure that you have loaded the group correctly.
```
var_dump($group);
```

How it works...

concrete5 queries the database to find the group that has the same name that you provided to the getByName function. Group names can be changed through the concrete5 dashboard any time, so use caution when hardcoding group names in your applications.
