We looked at the best uses of pie and donut charts. We also discussed the disadvantages of using these chart types. We looked at some ways to add functionality to a pie or donut chart to lessen some of the issues. We learned the different ways to move data labels around.

We also learned how to create empty pie pieces and split these pieces apart. We covered how to sort our data points to make the charts easier to read. We developed different functions to parse our remote data.

In the next chapter, we will look at the cursor and highlighter plugins. We will also look at some of the animation options.
