David Le Blanc has BA, BEd, and MEd degrees. He is an experienced online guide, Moodle expert, and e-learning practitioner. He has been working on computer-based learning since the mid '80s and in secondary education for the past 26 years. Currently, David works with local school districts and colleges to design online learning and support educators in delivering courses in the Moodle learning environment. Among David's projects is http://edtechopen.com/, a collaborative professional development site, which offers free online courses for educators around the world.

He previously participated as a reviewer on two other Packt publications—Moodle Gradebook—Second Edition and Instant Moodle Quiz Module How-to.

Alexander Angel Corrochano is computer science engineer with more than 10 years of experience in e-learning. As a frontend and backend programmer, especially focused on Moodle, he has developed several plugins, modifications, themes, and implantations of this learning platform. In conjunction with his technical career, Alexander has developed many technical online courses, which have used the full potential of Moodle.

He is also the author of Novedades para la docencia en Moodle 2.0, which is available at http://www.lulu.com/product/ebook/novedades-para-la-docencia-en-moodle-20/16053567.

Donald Schwartz has been designing, developing, deploying, and managing Moodle since 2003. He is an expert at giving the video e-learning course presentation and delivery over CDNs to large and disparate clusters of Moodle sites. His clients have included medical societies, engineering schools, and a majority of the ENR top 50 for their CAD software training.

Don's other interest, besides fly fishing, is "wearable computing". He leads the Wearables New England Meetup group and has facilitated hackathons, design sprints, and networking focused on wearables for healthcare in Boston and Washington, D.C.

Donald is the principal of VectorSpect, LLC, a New Hampshire USA-based e-learning consultancy. Prior to striking out on his own, Don spent 10 years developing and building the CADLearning website (http://www.cadlearning.com/), an e-learning network for engineering and architectural designers.

Shashikant Vaishnav was born and brought up in the desert town of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. He's involved with the London-based seedcamp-supported start-up, shoprocket. It's an e-commerce system delivered over the cloud and integrates seamlessly into any application with a single line of code.

He has been involved with Moodle for quite a long time as a student. While an undergrad, he participated in a Google's Summer of Code program and integrated Apache Solr with Moodle. He also participated as a mentor in the Google code in programme for the Sugar Labs organization.

He graduated from Government Engineering College Bikaner, with a bachelor's degree in engineering and technology in computer science in 2013. His academic focus aside, he harbors a deep interest for music and sports.

He loves to blog about his experiences with open source, technology, travel, and life. He reads spiritual books, is into photography, and hacks around with open source projects.

He previously collaborated with Packt Publishing as a technical reviewer on Git Version Control Cookbook and Moodle 3.0 LTS Administration—Third Edition.
