The following diagram shows the installation topology of the SOA Governance Suite, as prescribed by this book:
Since OAC and API Manager are meant to be the single source of truth throughout the entire development lifecycle, WBCV made the following considerations when defining the SOA Governance Solution environment strategy:
A shared instance of the SOA Governance Server (OER and API Manager) to support the development lifecycle stages: development, test, pre-production, and production
A sandbox instance of the Oracle API Gateway for the purpose of trying out new patches and configuration changes
A sandbox instance of the SOA Governance Server (API Manager and OAC) for the purpose of trying out new patches and configuration changes
A separate passive instance of the Governance Server for Disaster Recovery
