Sunday night's dinner ended up being very pleasant for Jim, Lynn, and their spouses. The restaurant was packed, but their reservation got them seated quickly. With the help of their spouses, Jim and Lynn were able to keep the discussion of Lynn's new site to a short status update on the design. The rest of the evening was spent in small talk, mostly about what the children were doing.
The following Wednesday morning, Lynn walked into Jim's offices for the appointment to review the designs with the designer that worked for Jim. They sat in the conference room. Jim said, "I see you brought your own coffee, so it would be redundant to offer you some."
"Thanks, but Starbucks was on my way walking over here, so I stopped," replied Lynn.
