Expected results and the process


You will deploy a design for your web blog with Bootstrap with the help of this chapter. The design is built with standard Bootstrap components and some little tweaks. After a short introduction to Sass, we'll start using Sass to modify and extend Bootstrap's CSS code to fit your requirements.

The end result of your efforts should look like that shown in the following screenshot:

The preceding screenshot shows the design for small screens, smaller than 768 pixels wide. We'll use a single breakpoint at 768 pixels. For screens wider than 768 pixels, the navigation becomes horizontal and new features will be added. For wider screens, the final result should look like that shown in the following screenshot:
