Overview of this book

Angular 6 for Enterprise-Ready Web Applications follows a hands-on and minimalist approach demonstrating how to design and architect high quality apps. Summary

In this chapter, we covered the importance of staying up to date across your entire stack of dependencies from development tools such as Node and npm, to Angular. We looked at how you can use ng update and Angular Update Guide to make Angular updates as painless as possible. We also covered manual updates, performance testing, dealing with out-of-band security vulnerabilities and patches, including the necessity to keep your web server up to date.
