Performance
Stardog provides results against industry-standard benchmarks for SPARQL performance at various numbers of triples and with various concurrent users. Stardog supplies their results for the three major SPARQL benchmarks: Berlin SPARQL Benchmark (BSBM) - Explore Use Case (http://wifo5-03.informatik.uni-mannheim.de/bizer/berlinsparqlbenchmark/spec/ExploreUseCase/index.html), SP2Bench Benchmark (http://dbis.informatik.uni-freiburg.de/index.php?project=SP2B/queries.php), and Lehigh University Benchmark (LUBM) (http://swat.cse.lehigh.edu/projects/lubm/). In addition to these industry benchmarks, the PoC also leveraged the same SPARQL queries used to measure Trinity performance by loading the N-Triples extracted from Trinity for iCMS, ATI, and GIDM data. This data was bulk-loaded into Stardog into separate databases and the load performance was monitored. On average, the bulk loading of N-triples ran between 192K/sec and 4K/sec. The difference was determined to be directly related to...
