Summary

We have come to the end of another chapter. We put in a lot of hard work here and did a lot of things, such as configuring Docker to maintain the data we are going to create in our MySQL database. We also created a large application and configured the database, and learned how to use the Workbench to view the data loaded by the application.

We created our first model and its migration file, and we also created a seed to perform an initial data load in our database. Finally, we built a solid foundation to scale our RESTful API.

In the next chapter, we will go into more depth in terms of how to create controllers, routes, and relationships between tables using the Eloquent ORM, among other things.
