To get the most out of this book

The book assumes a working knowledge of your operating systems and the common tools used by most L&D professionals. With Adobe Captivate Prime being a cloud-based application, a modern web browser is all you need to follow along with the exercises included in this book.

You will use a free 30-day trial of Captivate Prime to perform the exercises. Activating your free trial requires that you have an Adobe ID. If you do not already have an Adobe ID, you can create one for free at https://account.adobe.com/.

Finally, you will need to create a few email addresses for the different users you will create in your Prime trial account. You can use any popular free email service, such as Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo Mail. Detailed information about this process will be provided in the relevant chapter.
