Overview of this book

To get the most out of this book

You should have a year or more of programming experience in at least one modern language, along with some basic knowledge of building applications, although this does not have to be for the web.

This book will provide step-by-step instructions on using or installing these dependencies. However, this list does give some idea of what will be needed. Application source code will be for the final completed version of the application. The book will include any intermediate code.

If you are using the digital version of this book, we advise you to type the code yourself or access the code via the GitHub repository (link available in the next section). Doing so will help you avoid any potential errors related to the copying and pasting of code.

Ideally, you should always endeavor to type the code yourself as it will help you remember both the code and give you experience of what to do when things go wrong.
