In this chapter, we learned how to serve video from a local server using FileField
and jQuery
Media. We also examined some ways to customize the display, such as by adding a thumbnail splash image and a logo overlay.
In the next chapter, we'll examine some methods for file management, which canhelp making video handling just a bit easier. In particular, we'll examine threeuseful modules, including Node Reference (which can be used to link video, image, and audio node types to other nodes), Asset (which gives an easy-to-use interfacefor asset management), and Media Mover (which helps to process and store mediafiles, allowing for such things as e-mail harvesting and transforming videos to a Flash video file format)
