Apart from the standard infrastructure issues that we have to consider when building a system such as this, one of the core issues in any web-based file management system is file upload. As we all know, most server side technologies allow only one file to be uploaded at a time. ASP.NET is no different here. And while we could easily buy a third-party plug-in to handle multiple files at once, I figured we could dig into creating a multi-file upload system using a little client side script (Flash in our case) in order to fool our backend.
