Enabling cross sales for your store is another simple option at your disposal for helping to increase sales. What are cross sales? Imagine that you are shopping at a popular online merchant such as Amazon.com. Whenever you view an individual item, further down the page you will find a list of other items that customers have purchased along with the current item. These are cross sales. The suggestion is to buy other items along with the current one.
Enabling cross sales is a one-click affair. Browse to the Marketing page, look under Marketing Settings, and switch the radio button for Display Cross Sales to Yes as shown in the following screenshot:
That's it. Unlike coupons, there are no other options or configuration settings. Once enabled, cross sales will begin displaying other items of potential interest to customers.
