Automating twitter posts with Tweet This

There are several tools and plugins available that can enable you to either automatically or semi-automatically push your WordPress blog posts to your Twitter feed. One of the most full-featured and popular plugins is the Tweet This plugin. Tweet This enables two separate features. First, much like Share on Facebook, it inserts a Tweet This link on your Posts so that readers can quickly and easily share your content via their Twitter feeds. In addition, Tweet This lets you automatically or semi-automatically publish your WordPress Posts to your Twitter feed.

With both features, you extend your content to more readers. Your own Twitter feed is a way to push your content out to your Twitter followers. And, when readers redistribute your content through their network of Twitter followers, you reach an even greater readership. If a user's Twitter post gets re-tweeted, you'll extend your reach even further.
