Time for action—how to automatically display selective forum posts in Twitter


In the last two chapters, you learned how to automate e-mail campaigns and user-generated content submissions. In this in-depth activity, you'll learn how to spotlight forum content through Twitter, using forum posts as your content. You'll also automate this process using only selective sources and tweaking the content before it's tweeted, or posted to Twitter. For continuity, we'll assume that you're also running BuddyPress, as described in Chapter 2, Building the Social Network: BuddyPress and WP Symposium, and that you also own a Twitter account.
