Time for action – testing the priority enrollment period setting for an eligible student


We will now set up a scenario that will allow us to test the functionality of the priority enrollment period feature. Follow these steps to test the priority enrollment period setting:

  1. First, in order to test the priority enrollment setting, please make sure that your current time is within the priority enrollment period window of time. In other words, if you have set the course enrollment period to start seven days from today, you will need to also have your priority enrollment period set to at least seven days in order to make it possible for the student accounts that meet the criteria to be able to enroll.

  2. Once you are sure that the current time, the time you intend to test the system, is within the priority period, use the Bulk user actions filter feature found in the Site Administration block by clicking on the Users and then the Accounts link, to select a user who is designated as an advanced user...
