Time for action – testing the Registration Enrollment plugin Allowed Enrollments setting


In order to confirm that the Allowed Enrollments setting will limit the number of courses a student is allowed to enroll in, follow these steps. Also, remember that this setting will only control the number of enrollments in courses that are set to use the Registration Enrollment plugin.

  1. From the site-wide settings for the Registration Enrollment plugin, scroll down to the Period heading and change the Allowed Enrollments setting to 1, as shown in the following screenshot:

  2. The setting of 1 will mean that students can only enroll in one course that uses the Registration Enrollment plugin and as we currently only have one such course in our test site, we will need to create one more course that uses the Registration Enrollment plugin.

  3. Also, change the enrollment period that we "closed" for the previous test, back to a time frame that includes your current time in order to "open" the enrollment period.
