Implementing standard policies and procedures in your Moodle site
Almost every educational program, to varying degrees, has in place standards upon which it operates in order to ensure that every student is treated fairly and equitably. These standards may be in the form of rules that govern student evaluation methods, procedures for filing paperwork required of instructors, or policies that must be adhered to by students in a program such as attendance requirements. One aspect of expanding Moodle to function as a CIMS is through the implementation of many of these standards in the Moodle site. Doing so will not only introduce a heightened level of efficiency, it will also serve to make your program-wide standards more transparent and thus, more easily adopted and adhered to by everyone involved in your program.
