Customizing templates using Template Styles


Templates can include all sorts of options, allowing the site administrator to change the template width, colors, column layout, and much more without touching a single line of HTML or CSS code. Let's find out what the main options of the new default template are and how they affect the look and feel of the template.

This new template also has some powerful options built-in. Later, we'll find out how to save these options and create template styles to apply different template variations in different parts of the site.

Changing the site color and layout options

We'll first have a look at some settings that affect the overall color scheme and the layout:
