Time for action - exporting scripts

What goes in, needs to come back out. Whether we import scripts or type them from scratch, sometimes they need to be exported. The Export Script... selection on the Script menu lets us send scripts to other programs.

Let's say a producer calls. He's read the PDF script you sent and wants to pay you money and produce the film. Great! However, he wants it in Final Draft because that is what his film company works with (believe it or not, everyone does not yet see Celtx's overwhelming advantages). No problem—with the Celtx project containing the script, open the script in the main window, and click on Export Script.... The Export Script dialog box comes up (like the following). Edit the file title in File name: if you want something different and click on the Save button.

Once the text file is saved, it's ready to be imported into Final Draft or any other software, touched up and sent to the producer who requested it.
