Time for action - updating the Master Catalog

The Add Characters to Catalog selection on the Script menu is a simple but powerful update utility. For example, open a new Celtx Film project. Now open an older project on top of it as we did in Inter-Project Document Management section in Chapter 4, where we learned to drag items from project to project. Drag over a script, as I did with Portals. Note that the Master Catalog in the Project Library has no characters in it. What happened to all our characters?

No problem. Click on Add Characters to Catalog and almost instantly Celtx is now tracking our characters for us in the new project (see the following screenshot):
