Displaying a translation of the current page using Babelfish with a User-Defined Tag


As its name suggests, the World Wide Web makes web pages available all over the world. While you may be building your site in English, or Dutch, or Korean, the people who end up visiting the site may speak an entirely different language. Fortunately, there are services that will provide approximate translations of web pages, that enable people to get information from sites that are in languages they wouldn't otherwise understand.

In the previous recipe, we demonstrated interacting with a web service that is designed to work with other programmatic services. This recipe provides an example of working with a web service that is designed to be human-readable rather than oriented for data exchange. In doing so, this recipe gives a complex example of using a web service in a User-Defined Tag.
