Chapter 9. Online Orders and Payments
A common goal for many business websites is to integrate their website with their store, take reservations, and accept payments.
For example, a retail store may allow customers to browse their store inventory and then purchase items either for delivery or for pick-up at the store. A salon may allow patrons to view appointment times that are available, select a time for their appointment, and optionally pre-pay for their appointment online.
For the Artisan Bakers Collective site, we will do the following:
Allow customers to view online products in our case Breads for sale on the website
Select products that they want to purchase
Pay for the order online
After an order has been submitted, the order will be sent via an e-mail to the bakery staff so that they can begin preparation of the order.
The order will also be available for viewing online.
