You can also use the document library portlet to upload a PDF file. Try uploading an arbitration notice PDF file using the following steps:
Remain in the NeibourDoc folder and click on Add Document again.
Browse the local file system and find an arbitration_results.pdf file. Click on Open.
Click on Upload Files. Click on << Back, and the arbitration_results.pdf file is uploaded successfully.
Click on the arbitration_results.pdf file name.
Find a URL input box and copy the value in it.
Click on << Back to NeibourDoc.
You return to the NeibourDoc folder where two uploaded files are shown.
By default, a user with proper permissions can upload files with any kind of file extension with the document library portlet. However, the file extensions can be restricted through configuration in the portal-ext.properties file.
