Log in to your Liferay site as the default Administrator.
On the welcome page using the Add Application menu, add the Language Portlet from the Tools category. You will be see the Language Portlet, as shown in the following screenshot. It displays flags of all the countries whose languages are supported. Move the mouse over a flag and it will show you the information regarding the language and country.
This portlet also provides the option of showiing less number of languages for user selection through configuration. Also, it has configuration option to change the display style of listing of languages. Open the configuration popup. It will look as shown in the following screenshot.
From the Languages drop-down, move all the languages from the current to available box except for English (United States), English (United Kingdom), Hindi(India), German(Germany), Spanish(Spain), as shown in the following screenshot. Also, change Display...
