In this section, we look at Q Capture and Q Apply administration.
Q Capture and Q Apply can be administered from the Replication Center or from the command line. In this section, we will focus on the latter.

Because of the asynchronous nature of Q replication, it does not matter in which order we WARM start/stop Q Capture and Q Apply. However, in multi-directional replication, if we COLD start, then the start order is important. If we are cold starting Q Capture, then all the Q Captures need to be started, up, and running before starting any of the Q Applys.
