SAP BI is integrated with MDM in order to avoid any inconsistency in BI reports that arise from poor quality master data. When the master is consistent and error-free the accuracy of the reports improves as well. Similar to PI-MDM integration the data transfers were done using FTP in the past, but later SAP came up with ABAP APIs that can pull and push master data to and from BI.
In order to successfully integrate MDM with BI, the following conditions need to be met:

MDM_TECHshould be installed in the ABAP system. Ensure that you download a package with a compatible version. Check this using the SAINT transaction.2. Create a Logical Connection Object in the MDMAPIC transaction. Fill in the MDM repository details here.
