Previewing and publishing your course


Once you have finished your course, you'll obviously want to do something with it. This is one of the places where Articulate Presenter differs from PowerPoint. With PowerPoint you simply save your presentation and show it to your audience. However, Articulate will convert your presentation to a Flash video. Doing so requires publishing it, allowing the program to create the video files.

Publishing takes a bit of time, so before actually publishing your presentation, it can save you time if you preview it. This allows you to view how the presentation will be published so that you can ensure that everything is going to look the way you want itto.

Getting ready

If you've been using the same presentation to try out all these recipes, you've already got something to use for previewing and publishing. If not, open any PowerPoint or Articulate presentation that you have on your computer.
