Summary

In this chapter, we've examined how to use the drawing tools within Edge to add simple shapes and text areas to our composition. Additionally, we've had a look at importing assets created by other applications to be brought into an Edge project and used within a composition. Generally, no matter how each of these assets is created, they can all be employed within an Edge composition in very similar ways.

In the next chapter, we'll have a look at how to create motion through animating these elements along the Edge Timeline.
