Working with strings using the Text helper

Another useful helper that concrete5 provides is the Text helper. The Text helper lets you perform several common (and sometimes complex) operations on strings with very little code.

How to do it...

Load the Text helper:
```
$text = Loader::helper('text');
```
Create a string to use for the example:
```
$str = 'This is a test';
```

CamelCase a string (CamelCase):

$camelCased = $text->camelcase($str);
echo $camelCased; // outputs "ThisIsATest"

Un-CamelCase that string:

$uncamelcased = $text->uncamelcase($camelCased);
echo $uncamelcased; // outputs 'this_is_a_test'

Create a URL-friendly string with hyphens:

$url = $text->urlify($str);
echo $url; // outputs 'this-is-a-test'

Create an underscored handle:

$handle = $text->handle($str);
echo $handle; // outputs 'this_is_a_test'

Remove all non-alphanumeric characters:

$alphaNum = $text->alphanum($str);
echo $alphaNum; // outputs 'This is a test'
Truncate a string and append an ellipsis at the end.
