Making custom cards


Bootstrap provides you with many CSS components to build your design. In the Making custom buttons recipe, you can read about the button component. In this recipe, you will learn how to use and reuse the cards component. Cards are a brand new component to Bootstrap in version 4. Cards replace wells, panels, and thumbnails used in earlier versions of Bootstrap.

Note

A card is a flexible and extensible content container. It includes options for headers and footers, a wide variety of content, contextual background colors, and powerful display options.
