Number functions


Sass also provides some functions that can be used to manipulate numbers in SassScript. In this recipe, you will learn how to use these functions. You will also learn how to apply other mathematical operations by using Compass.

Getting ready

Read the Installing Sass for command line usage recipe of Chapter 1, Getting Started with Sass, to find out how to install Ruby Sass. You will also need Compass, so read the Installing Compass recipe of Chapter 1, Getting Started with Sass. You can also read more about Compass in Chapter 6, Using Compass.
