Using convert-to-freeform questions


Freeform questions allow you to take your creativity to the next level by providing a venue for creating customized assessment slides that your clients will not see anywhere else (unless, of course, you've reused these slides)! Freeform questions may be perceived as a less economical development, but they can truly help your courses stand out and may better address your course's learning needs than some of the built-in question types.

Freeform questions can take a static slide and turn it into an interactive assessment slide, and I love them because they provide me with the versatility to build out my slide first, and then convert it and program in your assessment.

With freeform questions, you have a couple of options for adding these slides:

  • Add a new slide. To do so, select the Quizzing tab, select Freeform, and choose the appropriate question type

  • Build out your slide. To do so, select Convert to Freeform from the Insert tab
