You can influence the way your wiki is used by seeding it with specific content, explaining how you want it to be used and providing clear instructions and guidelines for its use. Consider using your course wiki for these purposes:
Collect suggestions for future runs of the course
Give shared access to student-created resources, perhaps as a part of a collaborative exercise
Provide answers to course FAQs and collecting new FAQs
Publish errata for the course
Share editable course information, such as download and installation instructions for the software required for the course
