This concludes our third chapter in which you were introduced to line and spline charts. In this chapter, we learned various techniques to deal with regular and irregular time intervals, formatting dates and times, and customizing tooltips. We also looked at loading the data directly from an HTML table using the data module that Highcharts provides for this purpose. At the end of this chapter, we took a column chart that consisted of multiple series and combined it with a line chart to provide a more robust visual feedback for the data. In the next chapter, we will learn about area, scatter, and bubble chart types along with their properties and methods.
