Miscellaneous best practices

Some of the miscellaneous best practices that you should follow and which are not covered in the preceding sections are as follows:

  • Maintain consistency across all pages. Things that perform similar functions should look and behave in similar ways

  • Navigational elements should not dominate and should be as simple as possible for ease of use

  • Make sure that the user is getting enough feedback when an operation is running (if it takes a significant amount of time) and whether it was successful or not

So, if you follow all the aforementioned best practices, then it is easy to create an awesome and unified look and feel and responsive applications during the design stage.
