jQuery UI and its standard CSS rules

The jQuery UI framework (for more information about this framework, visit http://jqueryui.com/) is a jQuery Foundation project (visit http://jquery.com/ to find out more about jQuery).

The homepage of the official site of jQuery UI states the following:

"jQuery UI is a curated set of user interface interactions, effects, widgets, and themes built on top of the jQuery JavaScript Library."

Part of the preceding quote mentions themes, and it is this facet of jQuery UI that interests us because PrimeFaces uses jQuery and the jQuery UI theme framework.

The jQuery UI themes are represented by a set of CSS rules that define the look and feel of its various components.

It is these rules that we will use to create themes.
