Summary

In this chapter, we have explored ways to enhance a PrimeFaces component's look and feel based on the state of the underlying data apart from the theme and what this can do. We've had a look at the schedule component and its features, the problem with the currently selected date or schedule event, and how to create a CSS rule to change the background color of an HTML element, and then how to execute the JavaScript function to apply a CSS rule to an HTML element.
