Once assets have been harvested into OAC, they can be discovered in several ways. OAC admins and curators can search for drafts and published APIs through the OAC web console. Developers, on the other hand, can only search for published assets in the web console. In addition published APIs can also be discovered using the JDeveloper plug-in.
The following sections describe how WBCV architects and developers can search for and locate relevant APIs.
APIs can be discovered through the OAC console by following these steps:
Login to OAC.
Once the home page opens, it is possible to search for APIs by entering search criteria into the Search field located on the upper right-hand side of the page and then clicking on the Search button.
Note
If no criteria are entered, all APIs available will be returned. Also note that the option to filter based on API status is only available for curators and admins.
