Summary


In this chapter, we set up our development environment, designed the offline experience of our to-do app, built this experience with Sencha Touch, and deployed it to our device. We also evaluated the offline experience of the app against our principles and found areas where the experience could be improved.

In the next chapter, we'll continue to add functionality, improve some of the broken or neglected areas of the app, design the online flow of the app, and walk through this flow in order to see well how it transitions between the offline and online states. Then, we'll use Cloudant as an online store for our to-do data.
