In this chapter, we explored NativeScript and saw how easy it is to modify our web application to be a native mobile application. NativeScript provides us with a framework that allows us to use our web technologies to build a pure native mobile application.
We converted our Sample Trello application into a native mobile application using NativeScript, and along the way learned about the fundamental concepts of NativeScript. We looked at how NativeScript uses existing JavaScript/TypeScript code to develop a mobile application using NativeScript modules and NativeScript runtime. We also looked at the multiple configurations with NativeScript CLI to run and debug our application.
In the next chapter, we will look at deploying our web application on the cloud. We will be using Microsoft Azure as our cloud platform, and looking at the steps to deploy our Sample Trello application...
