In this chapter, we learned about the features of the JavaScript data binding library Knockout JS, which is extensively used in Oracle JET. We also learned about the installation and sample project creation with Knockout JS and reviewed features such as observables, data bindings, and external data access with examples. We finished this chapter with an understanding of how Knockout JS is extensively used in Oracle JET for data bindings with observable array component references from a sample application.
In the next chapter, we will learn about Oracle JET components such as collections, controls, and forms in detail.
