Summary


The main purpose of using WordPress is to simplify the development process. So, we need to understand the process of customizing important backend features. Also it's important to use modern user interface components to provide all the important in limited space using attractive techniques. We began the chapter by understanding the importance of the integration of UI components. So, we integrated jQuery Slider and Accordion while using two different data-capturing methods. We also looked at the importance of page builders in modern development and the steps for developing custom components for page builders. Next, we moved on to customizing admin features by building a simple dashboard widget. Finally, we looked at the process of adding custom features to built-in WordPress list tables.
